Two BruceGreySimcoe golfers finished in the top 4 of the PGA of Canada - Ontario Zone Senior Championship.
Gary Jeffrey of the Georgian Bay Club near Thornbury (in photo) shot rounds of 70-74 and finished in 3rd - four shots behind the winner - while Southampton Golf & Country Club’s John Schmidt shot 73-73 and tied for 4th.
William Wogden of Barrie Country Club carded rounds of 76-75 and was 11th.
The winner was Ken Tarling of Ken Tarling Enterprises who shot 71-69 then defeated David Banks of David Banks Simply Golf Academy in a playoff.
In the 60-69 division, Brian French of Mad River Golf Club shot 72-76 and finished 2nd.
The championship was played at Maple Downs Golf and Country Club in Vaughan.
