Kathie Houghton of the Georgian Bay Club fired an 85 in wet conditions today and finished as the top golfer from BruceGreySimcoe at the Ontario Women’s Senior and Mid-Amateur Championship. 

The winner of both the Seniors and Mid-Am was 53-year-old Judith Kyrinis of Thornhill Golf Club (shown in photo), who carded rounds of 72-73-78.

Houghton tied for 19th in the Senior division (age 50 & over) and 22nd in the Mid-Am.

Kimberley Legge of Paisley fired a final round 89 and finished tied for 24th in Seniors and 27th in the Mid-Am.

Catherine Butler of the Georgian Bay Club carded a 96 today and finished tied for 26th in Seniors and  29th in the Mid-Am.

Lynne Bradshaw of The Golf Club at Lora Bay (95-97-101) was 47th in Seniors and 55th in the Mid-Am.

Ellen Horton of Blue Mountain Golf & Country Club (99-95) was tied for 53rd in Seniors and 62nd in Mid-Am but withdrew before completing the final round.

Yvonne Fraser of National Pines Golf Club near Barrie (89-89-94) tied for 40th in the Mid-Am.

Missing the cut were Blue Mountain members Elaine Hiscox (101-102),  Rosemary Scott (105-97),  Maureen Burns (108-102), Horseshoe Resort’s Kelly Dory (103-100) and Susan McBride of Borden Golf Club (97-95).
 
The tournament was played at Wildfire Golf Club in Lakefield.
