Drew Nesbitt of Shanty Bay Golf Club near Barrie (in photo) and Kyle Kirkland of Sauble Beach were the top BruceGreySimcoe golfers at the Great Lakes Tour’s Paris Championship.
Nesbitt shot 77-69 and Kirkland 73-73 and they finished at +2 and tied for 14th place.
Thornton’s Ryan Curran (74-73) tied for 19th and Wasaga Beach’s Mark Hoffman (71-78) tied for 35th.
Tyler Marchand of Penetanguishene went 80-77 and was 49th while Harrison Shneer of Barrie (87-86) was 58th.
The winner was Chris Hemmerich of Kitchener, who went 70-69 then won with an eagle on the first hole of a playoff.
The tournament was held June 19-20 at Paris Grand Golf Club.
