Andre Zhu of National Pines Golf Club near Barrie finished tied for 29th at the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship.
He fired rounds of 77-68-70-70.
The only other golfer from the BruceGreySimcoe region – Taylor Beckstead of Tangle Creek Golf Club near Barrie – shot rounds of 73-76 and missed the cut.
The championship, held at Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor, Ontario, was won by Max Sekulic of The Glencoe Golf and Country Club in Rycroft, Alberta. He shot rounds of 68-65-68-66 for a -17 total.
