It was back to the links on the Victoria Day weekend - and golfers couldn't have been happier.
Golf courses in our region were packed with golfers thrilled to return to the game they love.
The season had been on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic but clubs in the region implemented a number of changes to help keep golfers and staff safe.
Early reports indicate golfers are doing a good job of following the new rules, which include social distancing of six feet, no touching of flagsticks, no ball washers on the course and no rakes in the bunkers.
The announcement allowing courses to open was made by Ontario Premier Doug Ford on May 14.
