Hanover, Ontario native Rachael Rier and her fellow golf team members at Davenport University set another 36-hole scoring record this week.

The Panthers competed in the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devil Classic and tied for third place as a team with a score of 632. The 36-hole team score broke the program record, which was previously set last tournament, by one stroke.

Rier shot 88-84 and finished fifth on the team. She is in her second year at Davenport, which is in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Freshman Hannah Meloche (76-73) from Windsor, Ontario and Frida Henningsson (80-74) both finished in the top 10, with Henningsson taking seventh and Meloche finishing in second place.

The tournament took place at the Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan.
