The four golfers from the BruceGreySimcoe region who competed in the Ontario Junior (Under 19) Boys Championship improved their positions during the final day of play.
Michael Ikejiani of Barrie Country Club shot 74 (+3) and moved from a tie for 24th to a tie for 14th. His previous three rounds were 78-67-78.
Cade Preston of Vespra Hills Golf Club in Minesing shot his fourth consecutive round of 77 and moved from a tie for 53rd to a tie for 40th.
Adam Jordan of Midland Golf and Country Club shot 79 and moved from a tie for 45th to a tie for 40th. His three previous rounds were 75-76-78.
Connor Logan of Mad River Golf Club shot a final-round 81 and moved from a tie for 62nd to a tie for 60th. His first three rounds were 76-77-81.
The winner was Nolan Piazza of Grand Niagara Golf Club with rounds of 73-69-69-71 for a -2 total.
The event was held at Loyalist Golf and Country Club in Bath, Ont.
