David Greenaway of Barrie Country Club fired a final round 69 and finished tied for 6th at the Ontario Senior Men’s Amateur Championship.
His three-under par round tied him for low round of the day. He finished the three-day event at +2 after carding rounds of 72-77 on the first two days. Greenaway won the event in 2019.
This year's winner was Ashley Chinner of Coppinwood Golf Club who shot 67-68-69 for a -12 total.
The only other golfer from the BruceGreySimcoe region to make the cut was John J. Murphy Sr. of Heritage Hills Golf Club near Barrie, who shot 72-74 -76 and tied for 13th.
The golfers from BGS who missed the cut were:

Steve Knoch, Osler Brook Golf & Country Club (80-83)
Dana Murray, Saugeen Golf Club (86-78)
The championship was played at Loyalist Country Club, located west of Kingston.
