Four courses on the property

Golfer's dream at Orange Lake Resort

Looking to head south this winter to play golf?

Here’s a destination that might interest you - Orange Lake Resort near Kissimmee, Florida.

The resort, located close to all the Disney attractions, has four golf courses and a golf academy.

The top course is the Legends - an Arnold Palmer-designed championship 18-hole layout.

It’s the only Palmer Signature course in Central Florida that is open to the public and you’ll find two distinct playing experiences on the 7072-yard design.

The front 9 features Scottish-style golf while the back is similar to the Carolinas, with tall pines, majestic oaks, winding fairways and flowing water.

The resort’s other 18-hole track is the Reserve, a 6,505-yard layout built around wetlands which are home to a variety of plants and wildlife.

The other two courses - both 9 holes - are Crane’s Bend and the Legends Walk Course.

Crane’s Bend boasts a stunning par 3 with an island green that has for a backdrop a row of palm trees and a fountain. It’s only a 100 to 123-yard shot over the water - depending on the tee box you choose - but it‘s still exciting and oh so picturesque.

The 1,581-yard Legends walk course, also designed by Palmer, provides a truly unique experience as it is lighted for night golf.

With four golf courses, you can probably figure out this is a very large resort with loads of amenities and a variety of accommodations.

And with all the amenities and lots of golf options, you may not even need to leave the resort during your vacation.
