The Ironman Scramble at Legacy Ridge Golf Club started with a bang on Saturday with Roger Amyot (pictured above) acing the 8th hole with his first shot of the tournament.
With such a great start (two under par after one hole) Roger and his team of Scott Amyot, Mike Garvey and Glen Beale went on to shoot 59, which put them in a first-place tie with the team of Chris Frook, Trevor Brennan, Lee Miller and Brent Keeling.
A playoff was held on the 18th hole and Trevor Brennan hit the closest shot from 100 yards to secure the win for his team.
Finishing tied for third after shooting 61 were the teams of Chad and Rob Currie, Jason Traynor and Greg Millman and Chase and Ryan Amyot, Larry Kreis and Michael Rea.
The tournament is known for its tough set up and all players under age 60 play from the back tees.
